With almost a decade in the industry, Grant Gimpel, Nick Fernandez, and Ryan Whitney delight audiences with not only their musicianship, but camaraderie; a seamless blend of funk and rock served with the charm of close friends. Drawing influence from the Tragically Hip, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Kings of Leon, the trio is bold and groovy with an infectious energy—bringing electric memories of classic rock to the forefront of the indie scene. Touring from coast to coast, the boys have shared stages with Canadian greats the Arkells and the Dirty Nil. Pilot Project’s self-titled debut album, released early 2019, brings poetic, psychedelic imagery served aggressively; impressively.
